E-Confirmations: Add to Calendar

The "Add to Calendar" function has been implemented with our e-confirmations.

We have noticed that the settings within the patient's personal device can throw the times off. The time can be different depending on a few possible settings: the client's calendar timezone setting, or their device timezone setting. We would not be able to tell without having the patient's device ourselves, unfortunately, so the client may need to check those settings independently.

Google Calendar Settings

Note: You won't be able to change the time zone of a calendar if you aren't the owner.
Change the time zone for all your calendars

On your computer, open Google Calendar.

1. In the top right corner, click Settings 
   
   
2. In the Your current time zone section, choose your time zone from the drop-down menu.
3. If you don't see the time zone you want, check the box next to "Display all time zones."
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Change the time zone for a single calendar

1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
2. On the left side of the page, click My calendars.
3. Hover over the calendar you want to update and click the drop-down menu 
   
   
4. Click Calendar Settings.
5. In the Calendar time zone section, choose your time zone from the drop-down menu.
6. If you don't see the time zone you want, check the box next to "Display all time zones."
7. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

Apple Settings

1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Date & Time.
4. Tap Time Zone.
5. Enter the name of the city of the time zone you desire.
6. Tap the city from the list below that you want. If the city you are looking for isn't listed, you'll need to choose a city within the time time zone you're looking for. Most major cities should be available.
