There are a few areas where you can search for a procedure code in the system as opposed to going through the drop down of codes.
When you are creating an appointment in the schedule you are able to add additional procedures by going to the procedure tab, right-clicking and selecting add.
In the add procedure modal, you can utilize the magnifying glass to keyword search:
When you click OK it will pull the procedure code into the window where you can change the measure and price if needed.
Previously booked appointment
If you want to add a procedure to an appointment that is already booked you'll want to right-click on the appointment and select attachments
A new window will appear and you can right-click, select add and utilize the magnifying glass to find the code you're looking for:
You are able to search for procedures in the task section as well. To do this you want to go to the patient profile > records > work orders and tasks (below) > create a work order by right-clicking in the first box:
Click OK and then in the box below right-click to add a Task. On the procedures tab you'll want to right-click in order for the add procedure window to appear and from here you can search for the code:
